Global temperatures likely to remain at record levels in 2026-2030, UN says

The UN warned Thursday that global average temperatures would be likely to stay at or near record levels for the 2026-2030 period, with a 75 percent chance that the average temperature for these five years will exceed pre-industrial levels by more than 1.5C.
